A former music conservatory, Stradivarius in the centre of Amsterdam is a monumental building close to the Van Gogh museum which will be converted into a luxurious hotel.

One of the more challenging aspects of this project is the 11 meter deep construction pit in the court yard. Because of the limited available space the sheet pile walls have been installed directly next to the existing building. Next to the design in an earlier phase, CRUX Engineering also supervises the monitoring of the construction works.
